The Zeus Network does not differ from popular black reality franchises such as RHOA or Love and Hip-Hop. It’s a wasteland of stereotypes and demeaning tropes that sends the wrong message to Hollywood. Therefore, studio executives invest in these shows rather than grant talented Black filmmakers a chance to tell relevant stories.
